We believe children are equipped with the potential for learning and understanding. By respecting the child as an active collaborator, we believe children can be intrinsically motivated to learn and that the foundation for a life-long passion for learning can be built. 

We believe interior and exterior spaces should be intentional, organized and modified in relation to the projects and learning experiences of the community. They should be offered to children and adults as places to work together and research.

We believe participation generates a culture of solidarity, responsibility and inclusion, and produces positive change. We believe that familial participation bridges the gap between home and school, strengthening the child’s sense of community and is a critical component of the child’s learning.
